My name is Tre. For a long time in my life there was no music. That changed in college with a few guys banded together in a little analogue college radio studio and ripped a hole in the night of North Carolina mountain sky with music, laughter and good times. Playing music for you in sl is akin to the feeling I had back then and it is a high. Thank you for letting me have that with your attention. My life is full of music now and it is a joy to share it with you. Currently, I am still building my library of tunes but I play rock, country, pop, dance, mix, mash ups and the list continues to grow with every request. Out in the mainland of sl I play specific sets of genre specific music. One type on Tre and another on my alt. With the Pirates through Tre I will give you the best of what I have from every genre out there. I am looking forward to meeting and getting to know all of you… “LET’S DANCE”-“OR ROCK!!!” - Tre
Half angel, half human. The queen of witch bass, the darkness that shines brighter than light. A longtime stage performer on guitar, bass, drums (and even didjeridu) in a variety of genres from rock to funk to east-west to acid jazz, Baphy (Baphometrix) now produces an infectious and dark blend of festival-oriented bass music that she calls witch bass.
Baphy loves the Bellisseria community spirit and enjoys giving back to the community and boosting her fellow Pirate DJ crew mates. She’s a regular performer at the Saturday Pickle Party put on by the Pirate DJ crew, and brings her unique blend of festival-oriented bass music from her RL producer-DJ crew (Producer Dojo), plus a smattering of other great electronic and alternative/pop/dance artists that she really loves. For a taste of what you might expect, visit her artist site at baphometrix.com for links to her music and videos on all the major platforms.
Hailing from Northern Europe, Sophia is a jazz and soul lover who has shared music across the grid since 2016. She enjoys meticulously fiddling with song choices and ordering in her quest to create the perfect set, but also loves taking requests, changing course on the fly and discovering new tunes to integrate into her rotation.
With DJ Sophia you can expect to float into a world of soul, funk, R&B, classic Motown, quiet storm, Japanese citypop, chillhop and more. This is complemented by her explorations in jazz - travelling from swing to bop, modal jazz, fusion, electronic jazz and dark noiresque soundscapes. Sometimes, however, she just likes to dance madly to 60s psychedelia and other classic rock. She can never wait to see where her musical journey will take her next.
Krys Calamity's journey into Dj'n in second life began back in 2008. She is a lover of most genre's of music. Coming from a family of singers and musicians, she was exposed at a very early age to truly appreciate all the variations of sound that were up for grabs. Her collection of music in rl, ranges from hauntingly beautiful Celtic music, which deeply reflects her roots to German Industrial and Trap.
It's difficult to guess what she might play at any given set. But her goal when spinning, is to take you along for the ride in the hopes that you will push yourself to get further inside what you are listening too. To explore the layers, feel the instruments vibrating through your veins and to truly understand that music is the one language we are all fluent in.
DJ Hammy is very new at what the hoomas call "Dj'n. But it IS in Hammy’s nature to shake her nubby and flaunt like the teeny queen that she is! So she is going to give this a whirl and see if she can make the hoomans shake their nubby's too! Hammy spent weeks, scouring through the dark alleys of Bellisseria to salvage the best parts she could find in order to construct her mini dj booth. Adorned with carrots and a love for all things musical, she hopes to bring a smile and a jiggly wiggle to her animal and hooman friends!
Country girl from Scotland who also loves the 70s, 80s and 90s. Scottish Sarah views music as a form of therapy and a release from life. She is never happier than when fulfilling requests and finding new music to love.
Sarah has been DJing both in RL and SL for several years, with music having taken her to many European countries and America. Growing up in Scotland, country music was hard to find so turning online has enabled Sarah to find so many new artists which she takes great joy in sharing with others. A child of the 80s, Sarah believes the camper and popier the music the better it is—though there's also a bit of a rocker in her. If it is good she will love to play it.
Being at home in Bellisseria has engendered a new love for SL and a joy for community spirit. Oh and if you love Sarah's accent ask her to say Duran Duran!
Being "subjected" to a range of different rhythms due to my multicultural family, mostly arabian, gypsy, caravan/nomad and oriental since childhood, I developed a musical addiction. Most likely my love for oriental sounds came from the instruments themselves, the way they streamed the energy into the blood making each cell react to their sound. I am in love with music, and cannot limit myself to one genre, but i love to play mostly house, deep house, chill-out, oriental, and then totally opposite on the genre palette I will spin gothik, rock, metal or whatever dark and mysterious or any other style I find interesting. You can find me playing also latino, reggaeton, hits 80, 90, 2000's, remixes or just pop. It is really not a big issue for me to just swap into the right mood. Looking forward to see everyone at my sets having an awesome and unforgettable time!
Orca whale, freed from SeaWorld who plays hot blues.
Will work part-time for fresh fish - prefers Northern Pacific Ocean.
(what did you expect from a sea mammal?)
My Musical journey began with the Hermans Hermits 'Theres a kind of hush' two centuries ago, and it cost me all my pocket money that week. I was always in love with the synthesizer, from the analog Moog to the digital TR808 and beyond. So of course I loved Pink Floyd, Tangerine Dream, Jean Michel Jarre, and Air.
Music has progressed and evolved as does everything else, and thats why I like rambling around the decades when I gig, from the 60s to present, it's all connected, evolved, history in the making. As a DJ of some 5 years or more in SL if there's one thing I have learnt it's please the Audience, not oneself, when choosing what to play. If it doesn't get the foot tapping as a minimum, don't play it ! Peace Love Dove and please, Carry RIGHT On !
Shiver me timbers! Thar she blows! No not a whale... a Fancy Pirate!
Ahoy, Matey! I'm your Pirate Host, Fancy! I'm here to have fun and promote all the Scallywags, Seadogs, and Landlubbers! (aka. DJs) at Bellisseria Parties and Events! I’ve been hosting on SL for over a year and let me tell you... Blimey! This by far is the best hosting gig ever! I live in Bellisseria as well, so hosting helps me get know my neighbors!
We hosts help out the DJs in various ways. We greet each person who arrives to join the party. We set the tone for a fun and exciting time with the Pirate DJs. We help keep the conversation going so people have fun with more than just the music, and will want to invite their friends and enjoy the event. We help everyone learn where to find Pirate DJ events and what adventures we are undertaking next. We recognize people when they leave, come back, feel happy or feel sad. We help steer negativity back into positivity, keeping the mood light and entertaining. And for the DJs who take requests, we encourage party goers to make requests and dedications!

Metal at heart but lover of all good music! Can be tempted into playing 70's Disco/Funk sets, as well as the hardest Metal your ears can handle. (Though not normally at the same set ;D)
Loves to play requests and will often alter the pace of the set based on the kind of requests given. If the crowd wants loud, they will get LOUD!
Get prepared to dance your butt off to: Classic Rock ,Rock, Hard Rock, Metal, Heavy Metal, Power Metal, Melodic/Symphonic Metal, and even Disco & Funk!
